It’s been an exciting week here at Lulu’s Primrose Bakery HQ, and I’m thrilled to share a special highlight with you! Over the weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the beautiful Ocean Kave, a truly magical coastal wedding venue tucked away in the heart of Westward Ho!, along the breathtaking North Devon coastline.
Nestled within 60 acres of private grounds and surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ocean Kave offers a setting like no other—with panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean to Lundy Island, golden beaches just moments away, and an atmosphere that feels serene, romantic, and completely secluded.
A Warm Welcome and a Personal Tour
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed so warmly by Kathy, the venue’s passionate and knowledgeable owner. She kindly took the time to give me a personal tour of the property and shared her incredible insight from years of helping couples plan and personalise their wedding days.
Ocean Kave specialises in elopements, micro weddings, and intimate celebrations, and it’s clear that no detail is overlooked. Each wedding is beautifully curated, making it the perfect choice for couples seeking something truly bespoke and meaningful.

Of course, I couldn’t visit such a stunning venue without bringing a little something sweet! I baked and brought along a fresh batch of signature Lulu’s Primrose Bakery cupcakes, which I was so pleased to hear the team loved!
