Nestled in the Devon countryside, Treetop Escape offers the most magical backdrop for couples choosing a more intimate way to marry. Surrounded by nature, soft light, and peaceful woodland views, it creates the perfect atmosphere for a day that’s entirely about the two of you.

A Bespoke Cake Design for an Intimate Wedding
For this elopement wedding, I designed a small buttercream wedding cake paired with individual mini cakes - a perfect choice for a smaller guest list while still creating that sense of occasion.
The main cake was finished in soft, smooth buttercream and adorned with fresh florals, echoing the natural setting of the venue. Alongside it, the mini cakes were delicately piped and finished with berries and subtle detailing, each one wrapped with soft green ribbon to tie into the overall colour palette.
This style works beautifully for elopements - it keeps things relaxed and approachable, while still feeling considered and elevated.

Thoughtful Details That Bring Everything Together
One of my favourite parts of this setup was the styling. The cakes were displayed on a rustic log slice, surrounded by fresh greenery, creating a look that felt organic and completely in keeping with the woodland setting.
The stationery - with its soft green tones and delicate botanical details - complemented the cake design perfectly, showing how all elements of a wedding can come together seamlessly when there’s a clear, cohesive vision.
It’s these small, thoughtful touches that transform a simple setup into something truly special.
